The Static Transfer Switch has a duplex power supply as its input for important and sensitive loads to supply one of these to the load side. If a power failure occurs, the power supply is transferred to the normal one seamlessly to provide stable power supply without power interruption at the load.

This product provides the fastest and most stable power transfer within 500㎲
for all loads in case of load power supply failure by using patented high speed switching method thus providing the optimal solution on areas requiring uninterrupted operation of the load system.

Facilities such as semiconductor, IDC centers, chemical and bio centers consist of products very sensitive to power supply. TERAPICCO is the only transfer switch product capable of perfectly protecting important products that existing duplex power transfer switches cannot protect within the fastest transfer speed of within 500㎲.

Power duplexing supply selection switching device

Switching equipment for selecting the supply source of a duplex power supply connected to power-sensitive and critical load. If the power supply is unstable, a seamless and an uninterruptible power supply is guaranteed.

High speed switching technology (patented)

Prevents load shutdown by performing an uninterruptible power supply transfer at a very high speed below 500㎲ at synchronous/asynchronous conditions regardless of load type

Real Time power supply analysis

Capable of providing a stable power supply at all times through real time analysis on duplex power supply to load (analyzing faults affecting the load such as amplitude, power failure, surge, sag, dip, frequency fluctuations, harmonics, etc.)

Overcurrent and short circuit current detection and protection technology (patented)

If the input power supply is unstable due to short circuit incident at the load side, the power transfer switch is protected from the overcurrent/short circuit current and a stable backup power supplied to the load seamlessly.

Duplexing of control power and controller inside the product

The internal control power and control processor are duplexed, resulting in high reliability and long lifespan of product.

Convenient installation and maintenance

As this equipment uses natural convection cooling, there is no noise as with existing method using a fan and maintenance is not necessary.

Power can be supplied seamlessly to the load within 500㎲ even at synchronous/asynchronous input power conditions. (patented)

Differentiation from Existing Products

Problems of Existing STS

  1. Existing STS have a low transfer speed to another power supply of 4~10ms when power problems occur. At this time, instantaneous power failure occurs at the load.
    ▶ Shutdown occurs on devices sensitive to power supply!!
  2. In the case of existing STS using SCR, line short can occur if the both input sources are asynchronous!!
    ▶ Can not transfer when input power is asynchronous !!

ATS

  • ATS : Mechanical duplex power transfer switch
  • Performs mechanical transfer of backup power through ATS if a UPS failure occurs
  • ATS operation time: 10ms ~ 100ms
